I met the fabulous Lady Borgia while volunteering my time doing Deco for The Brotherhood’s Pirate Party on the Star of India in 2003 (http://freaksnightout.com/).
She was hilarious in drag that night as Montego, a rather handsome knock off of Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow.
Thru this initial meeting, and the fact that we both lived in the same neighborhood less then a mile away from each other, we realized how much we both loved dressing up, going out, and dancing!

I can vaguely recall the many, many 80z night adventures.
The times we went to Labyrinth of Jareth or LA to for goth events. And especially the time we dressed up as Poison Ivy (lady borgia) and Poison Oak – The Rash Sisters!!! for the Brotherhood’s Comic Con Superhero Bus 2006.

Since I’ve moved away to San Franciso I’ve just had to be content with the few visits from this beauty when she’s traveled up for Burlesque conventions like Tease-O-Rama.
I still miss dancing with you Lady Borgia, and my heart goes squish every time you send me a text message or a facebook email about missing those times too.
Viva la Sisterhood of the Traveling Red Vinyl Dress!!!

I met the fabulous Lady Borgia my Freshman year of high school in homeroom. We shared a passionate dislike of Algebra and both have crazy Moms who love horses more than breathing. We ended up being the best of friends before the school year was through, and the rest of high school we helped keep eachother in and out of trouble for all the right reasons. I like to think she gets her bad-girl self from some of my early teachings! :)
